Pro Bono Matters

Attorney Murphy continuously gives back to the community through his active membership as a Volunteer Panel Attorney with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association. In maintaining his record of success of over fifty cases won for pro bono and private clients in 2010, this year Attorney Murphy has already obtained favorable results for two pro bono clients. These particular clients lost their employment through no fault of their own but were denied unemployment benefits. Attorney Murphy volunteered to take on these cases and successfully overturned the decision of the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance. Attorney Murphy looks forward to his continuing representation of VLP clients as well as his private clients throughout the 2011 calendar year.
